I've been writing stories since I was able to hold a pencil.

Making sense of what I saw or experienced was always very important to me.

As I thought about my future and how I could imagine writing professionally, I pursued a career in publishing, only to be hit by the invention of Kindle and a window of opportunity that was getting smaller and smaller.

I never imagined that I would end up in a completely different industry that allowed less and less time to devote to writing.

Fast forward a few years, and I finally decided that ready-or-not I would start my first blog as a means of coping with a job I felt overwhelmed by and a break-up that made me re-evaluate my understanding of just about everything in my life. I'll never forget my About Me at the time talking about this leap of faith as resetting a broken bone.

Since then, I've posted hundreds of blog posts, made an Instagram community, took a three year break, launched a podcast, and returned to this space to share the ups and downs of this crazy life through the lens of faith.

I've often wrestled with the struggles of walking out this faith journey and my hope is to be a comforting voice in the hard things and laughter in the good things.

Consider me a friend who's saying, "I'm in my pajamas - come over to talk."

Bring your highs and your lows - the bitter and the sweet.

Stay up to date on new posts, episodes, and more!
